Terms of Service

PipTCG is operated by Sibo Ju, 7202 Lugary Dr, Houston, TX 77036 ("PipTCG", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PipTCG mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use PipTCG

• You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and refuse accounts that do not meet this requirement. If we learn that an account holder is under 18 we will close the account.
• You may hold one account. You must give accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or banned you, or if doing so would violate any law that applies to you.

2. What PipTCG Is (and Is Not)

PipTCG is a local marketplace and community for collectors of physical trading cards. It lets you catalog a collection, list cards for sale or trade, find cards and collectors near you, message other users, and record deals you complete in person.

PipTCG is a venue, not a party to your transactions. We do not own, hold, inspect, grade, or authenticate any card. We do not hold funds, process payments between users, or take a fee on trades. Any money that changes hands is exchanged directly between you and the other user, outside the Service, and is your responsibility. When both parties mark a deal complete in the app, the app updates its own records of who holds the card; that record is not a warranty of ownership, authenticity, or condition.

Price history and value estimates shown in the app are derived from deals recorded by users and from third-party catalog data. They are for information only and may be wrong, stale, or manipulated. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for a purchase or sale.

Card identification from photos is performed by an automated system and can misidentify cards, sets, printings, or conditions. Check the result before you list or trade.

3. Listings, Trades, and Meetups

Accurate listings. Describe cards truthfully, including condition, printing, language, and any damage. If a card is graded, report the grading company, grade, and certification number accurately.

Prohibited items. You may not list or trade counterfeit, proxy, or altered cards represented as genuine; stolen items; items you do not have the right to sell; or anything whose sale is illegal where you are.

In-person meetups. PipTCG helps you arrange meetups but does not screen users, verify identities, or supervise meetings. You decide whether, where, and when to meet. Meet in public places, bring a friend if you can, and stop any deal that feels wrong. The meetup check-in feature confirms that a device was near an agreed location; it does not make a meeting safe and is not a guarantee of anyone's identity or intentions.

Disputes between users. If a deal goes wrong, try to resolve it directly with the other user first. You can also report the user in the app. We may, but are not required to, look into a dispute, and we are not liable for its outcome. Reviews and no-show reports must be truthful and based on your own experience.

Shipping. PipTCG is designed for local, in-person deals. If you choose to ship a card, you do so entirely at your own risk and outside the Service.

4. Fees and Optional Subscriptions

The Service is free to use, and we charge no fees on trades between users.

We may offer an optional paid membership ("PipGold") purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your app-store account at confirmation of purchase, at the price shown at that time.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your app-store account settings, not in PipTCG.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Paid membership buys convenience features only. It never changes how listings are ranked, how trust and review information is shown, or who is recommended to whom.

5. Your Content

You own the photos, videos, text, and other content you post. By posting it you give PipTCG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service and in materials that promote the Service, until you delete it or your account. You represent that you have the rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.

We may remove or hide any content, and suspend or ban any account, at our discretion and without notice, when we believe it violates these Terms or puts users at risk.

6. Community Rules

You agree not to:

• Post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable, or that targets someone because of who they are.
• Scam, defraud, or misrepresent yourself, your cards, or a deal.
• Post another person's private information without their consent.
• Post spam, phishing links, malware, or unsolicited advertising.
• Manipulate prices, reviews, or reports, including by colluding with others or using multiple accounts.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools, or attempt to bypass rate limits, bans, moderation, or other safety features.
• Impersonate another person or PipTCG staff.
• Interfere with the Service or try to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access.

Zero tolerance. PipTCG has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content is screened by automated systems and reviewed by people. We act on user reports within 24 hours, remove content that violates these Terms, and suspend or permanently ban the accounts responsible. Bans may be enforced against the email address, phone number, and device associated with the banned account. Every user can block and report others from within the app. If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, contact us using the details in Section 15.

7. Intellectual Property

Trading card names, artwork, logos, and game names shown in the Service belong to their respective owners, including The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, Ravensburger, and others. PipTCG is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any trading card game publisher or grading company. Card information is displayed to identify the physical items users are trading.

The PipTCG name, logo, app, and catalog compilation are owned by us and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as these Terms allow.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email us with the details in Section 15 and we will respond promptly, including by removing the content where appropriate.

Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used without restriction or compensation.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties such as Apple, Google, and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and may show information supplied by local game stores (such as events) or link to outside websites. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or actions.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including how your location is used to show nearby listings. By using the Service you agree to it.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THAT, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; THAT ANY CARD IS AUTHENTIC, AS DESCRIBED, OR OWNED BY THE PERSON LISTING IT; THAT ANY USER IS WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE OR WILL COMPLETE A DEAL; OR THAT PRICE DATA OR AUTOMATED CARD IDENTIFICATION IS ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIPTCG AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF CARDS, MONEY, DATA, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, ANY TRANSACTION OR MEETING WITH ANOTHER USER, OR ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PipTCG and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your dealings with other users, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

13. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to others. Sections 5, 7, and 10 through 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us using the details below and to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. Any claim that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will post a notice in the app and update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PipTCG about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

By using PipTCG, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
